The Perth History Centre was a ‘Friend of Open House Perth’ this year. As part of our sponsorship, we supplied images of Northbridge to project onto the Perth Cultural Centre screen.
Congratulations and many thanks to Open House Perth, photographer Bob Litchfield for giving us permission to display his work on the Cultural Centre screen and to the History Centre and Library team for helping out prior to and on the weekend.

The Perth History Centre is proud to be a partner of Perth Heritage Days 2013.

50 years to the day, Queen Elizabeth II officially opened Council House. We’re celebrating – and so can you!
Get down to Council House to view the 50th anniversary exhibition, on display on the ground floor. While you’re at it, why not take five to relax in the Supreme Court Gardens and take in the building’s individual style?
Has all this birthday celebrating got you in the mood for some research? The History Centre has photographs, publications, ephemera and much more in relation to the building. Another building piqued your interest? Get in contact with us and we can see what gems we can uncover for you.
